RetroFest Lancaster PA 2017

Had a blast this past weekend at RetroFest 2017 in Lancaster, PA.

https://www.retrofestlancaster.com/

Even though it rained cats and dogs driving up Friday night, Saturday morning was a awesome day. It helped to have most of the vendors inside to make multiple laps trying not to buy everything in sight. But some things were bought indeed. Most of the vendors are on display at Mad Hatters Antique Mall, http://antiquescapital.com/

The music was a blast, lots of amazing live bands and even some fun retro record djing, shout out to Rita and the Riotz as Greg Bell was playing Bass and it was great to see him and his lovely lady Amy.

Lastly the beautiful vehicles. Some amazing vintage, hot rod, rat rod, and overall fun retro machines were on display all weekend. Be sure to check out the pictures below.

PA Chip Trip – 062117

June 21st 2017,

Once we hit the road I decided to do a little pre-research and ate at Miss Oxford Diner, to get some food before. Damn fine coffee and Cherry Pie.  After we ate, and a few miles down the road is a covered bridge and it felt very much like Beetlejuice!

Even though those two locations are worth the trip alone, the main reason we went to Nottingham PA was to visit the Herr’s potato chip factory and take a tour. I have to say I never thought I would be sitting in the factory and handed fresh hot potato chips right from the line. So amazing! Plus the gift shop has all the crazy flavors and an Oops section which I bought a giant bag full for super cheap.

I think I have enough chips and pretzels to last until the next adventure.
