Walk With Locals – JFK100
Saturday, May 27th 2017,
Walk With Locals had an awesome photo meet-up at the Kennedy Center in DC. It wasn’t the normal walk, which usually consists of a small business and walk through town. We had the pleasure to be exploring the center and during the 100 year anniversary celebration was amazing, and I even got to go on the upper level which I have never experienced. It was so lovely to see so many people having fun and experimenting. Seriously check out the tagged photos as there are some amazing talent creating and crafting some amazing works and collaborations. #wwlxjfk100
Here is the group that met up!
My favorite shot of the day was a quick capture that I tweaked a little using the phone app Mextures.

Walk With Locals – Double Exposed
A wonderful weekend,
To start it of on Saturday at 11:23am a group called Walk With Locals, definitely worth checking out, had a meet up at Commonwealth Joes Coffee Roasters in Arlington, VA. Never knew about the shop before, being that it is blocks from the Pentagon. The clean exterior opens into a wonderful open and natural tone lounge, and the best part was a special deal for WWL event attendees so I got a super tasty ice coffee and chocolate croissant.
The group usually meets up monthly for photo walks and getting to know new people and the city around I set out to experiment with some double exposures using my x100s along the streets and local parks. I am enjoying tinkering with the camera as there are so many hidden features to play with. Here are some from my Instagram feed:
