I am a graduate from The Art Institute of Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Animation. Focusing on concept art gave me the freedom to gain knowledge in different mediums. For most of my work the creative process usually starts out with a traditional route with sketches and photo references before I jump on the computer. I feel comfortable working in both but more than anything I like to work with my hands. Through my studies I have enjoyed conceptual illustration, the process of texturing and lighting 3d objects and scenes and also front-end web and flash based works.

My career in the arts started out in my high school. Taking the course Graphic Imaging and Design for two years not only taught me my fundamentals but also had constant outside work that assisted in my knowledge going beyond classroom lessons. Learning web and graphic design, assisting in visual presentations, and also the process of t-shirt production from design to completion set the foundation and spark that continues till today.

For the past 3 years I have performed and built stage props for The Rocky Horror Picture Show under the Transylvanian Concubines cast. I enjoy working with my hands and it has proven to be a great artistic outlet for me. The props I have made for the show include many recreations from the movie from as small as a corsage to as large as a 6 foot by 4 foot Transducer Board with switches and levers to light it up. I continue to perform every weekend and enjoy every second of it.



I am a second-generation Greek-American, and growing up I learned how to read, write, and speak Greek about the same time as my regular schooling. I am also in the Vourvoura Society of Washington D.C. that recently has passed its 100th year anniversary. Vourvoura is a small village in the mountains of Greece that my mother’s side of the family comes from and some still live today. The society was started to spread the stories of the village and also keep members connected even if they traveled away. Some of the things done here in the states have been parades, annual picnics, and also fundraisers. The fundraisers in the past have helped with the renovation of a church in the village and also the renewal of the icons within.
